A cohesive launch package

Vast and intimate
I built the visual direction from scratch, starting with the tension I found most interesting: how do you make something feel vast and intimate at the same time? Space, film grain, and the quality of light just before a scene starts became the reference points. Not as mood board aesthetics, but as structural logic: deep colour contrasts, type that has weight, imagery that breathes. The website prioritised the work. Every layout decision was tested against one question: does this make the films feel more or less important?

Expansive. Controlled. Theirs.
A custom wordmark with a quiet celestial reference, present enough to feel intentional, restrained enough to stay out of the way. The palette pairs deep navy with warm planetary tones: grounded, but with atmosphere. On the web, generous space and high-contrast type create the feeling of watching something unfold, rather than browsing a catalogue. The system extends across digital, print, and social, built to scale as the film catalogue grows.

A brand that got out of the way.
The films produced by Cosmos have gone on to screen at festivals and collect awards. Cosmos Films now has a presence that matches the ambition of what they're building and amplifies the stories of their filmmakers.
